Rock Climbing in Mont-Tremblant

Rock climbing, Mont-Tremblant - initiation

Imagine scaling a 20–25 metre cliff, on a natural rock face, right in the heart of Tremblant resort. No experience needed. Our Rock Climbing Initiation is a hands-on, instructor-led climb, designed for beginners and families.
Our certified climbing instructors take you onto a natural rock face that’s 20 to 25 metres (approximately 70 feet) high. We walk you through the fundamentals: How to read the rock, how to place your feet, how to use your harness, all before you start your first ascent. You’ll go up and down several times, progressively building confidence with each climb. You’ll also learn safety protocols and practice belaying your fellow climbers.

Rock climbing - Montagne d'Argent - Private Class

For climbers with some experience or beginners looking for a solid challenge, we offer a full day initiation to rock climbing at the Montagne d’Argent. First, you’ll spend about 1h30 on technical training and demonstration with our fully certified guide, then getting you geared up and taking a little hike to the rock wall. Then the real fun starts! For the next 3.5 hours, our guides will teach you the proper way to climb, as well as the proper techniques for belaying and rappelling. You will top rope climbing on walls around 30m high at a rating between 5.4 and 5.10. You will have the chance to climb and descend several times over the course of the lesson.

Be Smart — Travel strategically

We recommend bringing/renting a car in Montreal if you are coming to visit the Mont-Tremblant area and want to get around easily. We are in a rural area so taxis/rideshare can be limited or delayed in high season. That being said, you can also choose a low-impact adventure: many of our activities are accessible on foot, bicycle or by public transportation.

Nous avons adoré notre expérience d'escalade (1 adulte et 2 enfants de 11 et 13 ans). Le tout était parfaitement sécuritaire, avec un moniteur excellent, très doux et rassurant.

Awesome experience!!!! My first time doing ice climbing and couldn’t have gone better between the great instructor and positive environment. Need ski boots to climb, and ski boot rentals available at Mt Tremblant. Would go again!!
